The Piper

Penola is a historic township at the southern end of the Coonawarra wine region.  The “terra rossa”soil gifts us with fantastic Cabernet Sauvignon wines and magnificent Redgum forrests. Its also home to a highly awarded and much loved restaurant, Pipers of Penola. When the owners Simon and Erica Bowen asked me to design a new waiters station for their establishment they also asked for it to be a piece of art. I recon the Redgum looks good enough to bottle!
